Ok, here we ALMOST go...

The time approaches quickly!! A part of me is nervous, but still another part of me is screaming to GO ALREADY! Talking about it, thinking about it, reading about it.... my stomach is turning flips. But I know that once our feet get going a different sort of energy will overtake me. We have been planning and waiting for this day, and it is ALMOST HERE! I can't believe it. Sitting in our house and typing on a computer...it seems bizarre to contemplate how different our lives will be in the coming weeks. There is definitely a level of anxiety experienced, but I can say that I'm not scared at all. I feel healthy, I feel ready, and I have a great partner to go adventuring with.

Thanks to my father for sending us the book end to ending by Tanner Critz. Although the author seems very young and very egotistical, it definitely heightens my excitement for what may lay in store for Tara and me.

I would like to echo Tara in saying that our trip to Ohio was wonderful! I know for Tara it was very meaningful and helped her feel more prepared for the journey ahead. We both enjoyed our time there greatly, and I can't say enough how awesome it is to feel such support from our loved ones. I cant wait to go to Arkansas myself and spend some time with my family before taking off.

Every day that passes brings us closer to Springer Mountain. I can't wait!
